People Are Moving To The South and Why You Should, Too

With Manila being hailed as one of the most densely populated cities in the world, it's no wonder potential homeowners have been looking south of the metro for their dream homes. More and more eager buyers, regardless of age or demographic, have been searching for a prized affordable house and lot for sale in Cavite, and with good reason. Cavite is one of the most industrialized and fastest growing provinces in the country, making it the perfect place to expand one's career outside of Metro Manila.

Cavite - The Historical Capital of the Philippines

The province of Cavite is widely regarded as the birthplace of Philippine history for being the site of many of the historical events in our country. It is the home of many of our heroes and is the site of many of the pivotal moments of the Philippine Revolution.

Kawit, the capital of Cavite, is where you can find the residence of Gen. Emilio Aguinaldo, the president of the first republic of the Philippines which was also the site of the proclamation of the Philippines' independence from Spain on June 12, 1898.

Apart from the historical landmarks and museums, Cavite is also famous for its beautiful gardens, world class golf courses, and leisure parks.

Tagaytay City

Tagaytay City, a popular city within Cavite, is a popular summer and holiday getaway. Only an hour away from Manila, Tagaytay is home to the world famous Taal Volcano and lake, a unique crater whithin an island whithin a lake. The city is situated 2,500 feet above sea level, making it cool all-year 'round.

Tagaytay has a wide range of accommodation establishments and restaurants for tourists, both locals and foreigners alike, to relax as they enjoy the scenic views of Taal Lake and Volcano.

Batangas, a neighboring province, is another popular tourist destination. It is home to some of our country's most beautiful beaches and diving spots including Anilao in Mabini, Sombrero Island in Tingloy, Ligpo Island in Bauan, Matabungkay in Lian, Punta Fuego in Nasugbu, Calatagan and Laiya in San Juan.

Batangas has the second largest international seaport in the Philippines (second only after Metro Manila). It is quickly rising as one of the major industrial growth centers in the region of CALABARZON, making it a popular site for investors due to the province's Central Business District (CBD) and industrial parks.

Laguna, a quick 3-hour drive from Cavite, is regarded as the resort capital of the Philippines. Known for its beautiful lakes and picturesque mountains such as the famous Mt. Makiling, Mt. Banahaw, and Mt. Sierra Madre, Laguna offers numerous opportunities for vacations and tourism. The city has an abundance of hot spring resorts which is popular with those looking to relax after a busy work week.

More than just a resort province, Laguna is also a center for career growth. Numerous business and commercial centers have risen up including the Laguna Techno Park where at least 99 companies including automotive, electronic, and manufacturing companies had taken occupancy.

Getting to Cavite

It allows you to enjoy a more leisurely lifestyle while still giving you access to the country's main business districts in Makati, Muntinlupa, Ortigas, or Bonifacio Global City. Because of the many road developments, travel time from Makati to Cavite has been significantly reduced to 30 - 45 minutes.
